Blessings

The story of James bears emphasis that it is by the grace of God that he is what he is. Like the apostle Paul, he boasts of his weaknesses. He is thankful to be blessed with his triangle family. His wife is a person of great determination. She sacrificed her career as an economist at the Ministry of Finance for the sake of family when James was posted abroad as Ambassador. But Adolphine used that period abroad to widen her knowledge by studying for an MBA and a PhD at Stockholm University. She taught MBA students at Mzumbe University Dar campus while teaching MSc students in Climate change at Dar University. Their son, Kahabuka holds LLB (Hons) and LLM degrees from the University of Hull in England. He is a Barrister of Gray’s Inn, London. He worked with different law firms in Dar (Clyde and Co. LLP and Norton Rose Fulbright). He then moved to a foreign company as legal adviser and acting head of the legal department. Equinor, the Norwegian oil and gas giant, formerly known as Statoil is well established in Tanzania. Kahabuka is married to Tamala Simona Maerere who is a U.S. educated graduate in travel–tourism and hospitality management at Johnson and Wales University, Florida. She is Outreach and Communications Officer at Ubongo Company.
